What is the correct spelling anyway? It is indeed neither as others have pointed out, the correct spelling is Pilz. http://www.pilz.com Michael Karas said:
Does anybody have experience with using what is known as a Pliz or Plitz safety relay?
My experience with the (Pilz) brand: I worked on a food processing site early last year which had around (roughly) forty units of these relays (forgotten model numbers, sorry) were installed and commissioned immediately prior to my arrival. In my subsequent six-month tour-of-duty, these did not give trouble (as far as I am aware). As for the technical support side of things: While I cannot speak for the Pilz representation in the US, I have nothing but praise for the local backup here in oz - very helpful in answering my inquiries around a new project late last year.. Valentin PS: I am NOT affiliated with Pilz in any way! :-) |
