The consensus is, let someone else do the work. Even if you're hired to be the specialist, let someone else do it. Then you should be working for the cable manufacturers. Not everything is black and white.... where is the grey? The OP should not even tried to figure out the cabling, the OP should have just told a cable company what were the power requirements and how long along with envrionment. They would have taken care of it for them.
