#168947 - Laser adjustment / power calculation / current measuring |
Hello.
I have bhought some simple 3v 50mw green laser modules, they look like just the laser that come in the pointers, but just the laser unit itself, diode, colimator and circuit. They need to be adjusted to work properly, doesnt come adjusted, but I dont know how to adjust it, they have a trimpot on its board, but how do I will know it isnt feeding too much current? Can I calculate, or have an idea on its power output by voltage and current drawn? Also, when I try to measue its current, with a multimeter, the diode doesnt light up at all, so I think it is not measuring the current well. Can someone give me some help? Thanks a lot! |
