#168754 - SSH security Responding to: ???'s previous message |
SSH security makes sure that someone with a network sniffer will not pick up a clear-text password, allowing them full access to a machine. One hacked machine in a corporate network means access to more machines - and we all know how bad passwords some people selects, so a number of more machines may fall with a limited amount of work.
That whas the reason why I asked in the first response if your customers do allow you full access to a machine. |
