#165845 - For my next trick |
My mate at the cycling club wants me to make him something like this:-
http://sites.google.com/site/onew...balancing/ Its atualy one of those problems where if you try to solve the control system which tries to keep the board level using classsical methods it turns out to be almost impossible to solve, but if you come at it from a very naive standpoint and say well... the motor speed has got to be a function of the board angle plus some offset it works very well. The maths is very similar to the balancing a broom handle on one end, and indeed balancing a rocket on the engine exhaust only in one dimension instead of three. |
