#165549 - Understanding VGA signals
Responding to: ???'s previous message
1st needed is an understanding of VGA signals...

See here

http://www.epanorama.net/documents/pc/vga_timing.html

http://www.ue.eti.pg.gda.pl/fpgalab/zadania.spartan3/zad_vga_generowanie_sygnalu_vga_en.html

So the AT89S2051 might be a little slow depending on the VGA resolutions and colors required.

Here's an ARM7 60MHz CPU driving a VGA monitor... and it does take up a lot of the CPU bandwidth.
