We can either keep it as-is, we can ditch it entirely, or modify the system so that positive scores are made public on the message but negative scores are only seen by the poster of the original message.
there are two 'groups' of negative scores a) to the poster e.g. "didn't search" and b) to the public e.g. "answer is wrong". if you hide gooup b) some unsuspecting individual might be led astray. However, I fully support your suggestion of what the poster would see (not quoted). Erik |
