I think the negative scores need to be kept public - otherwise it could appear that the post is simply being ignored;
Also, if the descriptive text pointed the original poster to the appropriate resolution, no other readers of the post would benefit from that. In particular, of course, the 'answer is wrong' score needs to be public - and whoever gives it should be required to explain. Craig Steiner said:
