Gets you links to pdf files for the device wherever they may be; not necessarily the manufacturers site
and get totally screwed the datasheet collectors 1) never show a link to the errata 2) never show a link to other stuff re the chip (appnotes etc) 3) often have an old version of the datasheet 4) usually insert 47 hooks in your PC 5) often drop stuff due to the 'standardizing of the format' they do 6) Do not care, which the mfgr does/should.
