This is for a clock- the first thing the device is likely to do internally is rectify and put the input wave through some kind of Schmitt trigger. I doubt that there needs to be any consideration about a sine or square wave, or filtering of any kind.
At any rate if a square wave was necessary, you could generate 600Hz, divide by 5 and then by 2. -Aubrey |
