#146886 - We already do that Responding to: ???'s previous message |
We have number plate reading cameras which can not only automatically read your vehicle's number plate but can communicate with other cameras so that they can time your journey from point A to point B. We also have cameras which will, should you cross a junction on a red light, read the offending vechical number plate and take before and after photographs. So if you wanted to ensure that a given vehicle always met a green light it could be cone simply by waiting until the camera detected a given number plate.
The way we read the number plates is with a lot of real time image processing in hardware implemented in FPGAs |
