#146516 - Spiky currents! Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hello dear Kai,
Thank you so much for your reply, and link to National's app note in an other post. Well, you are correct, the transformer input could also draw spike currents. My question is, how this spike current is measured or defined by standards? Is there a way by which any standard mentions how the line current to be measured for 'spiky' waveforms? Single cycle RMS? RMS for some x number of cycles? I am getting disjunct information, and could find nowhere in the standards docs. How can be Power factor defined for these non-linear V-I relationships? Thanks and regards, Vignesh Sorry Kai, could not restrict asking question! |
