#146207 - Three wires .. Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I'm not sure how to check if it has main winding or auxillary winding. Hello Roque, For a capacitor start/capacitor run single phase induction motor, you will usually find three wires, 1. Main winding (or line), 2.Auxiliary winding (or the start winding),3. Common (or neutral),. Here in India, it is usual to colour code the above as follows: 1.Main winding = Red 2.Auxiliary winding = Yellow 3.Common = Black. A 100Watt motor should not be causing so much trouble as you describe. Since our voltage system is 240V / 50Hz, and I am familiar with capacitor sizes for 300Watts to 2200Watts motors, I think that information is not going to help you. Regards, John. |
