#142812 - Protocols
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Jan Waclawek said:
In the last few years I was forced to go through the same procedure four or five times to implement various protocols...

I usually find that protocol specifications include examples of how to do their specific CRC(s) - or they can be obtained from the appropriate support group(s)

...every time the calculation was different

Quite so!
Which is why it is so useless when people just post, "...how do I do a CRC-16?" - there's a whole bunch of different 16-bit CRCs out there!
