#142770 - RE: Runtime...?
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Michael,
I wasn't planning on using a runtime method.
I actually wanted to make a 32 byte table like the one you posted but for a CRC8 with a poly of 0x107 which is used for SMbus packet error checking.
This PDF http://sbs-forum.org/marcom/dc...ations.pdf talks about using a 32 byte table but doesn't go into any detail. Does creating a Nibble based lookup table differ from a standard table?

Thanks,
John
