#142141 - Going way - way off - off topic Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Since we are talking about grounds, I have an interesting anecdote. I was witness to an engineer checking a patient monitor (ECG display unit) connected to a treadmill. The circuit schema showed a floating ground. Poor chap was confused as to where was the floating ground. As, I watched, he held a probe onto the floor of the room and taped it there; and started probing the circuit. LAUGH NOW.....;)
Guess, we have to laugh sometime! JF |
