#140640 - How long lasts the mains dip? Responding to: ???'s previous message |
How do you fabricate your 5V supply?
If you have a linear 5V regulator, how much current do you draw from the associated storage cap (the cap behind the regulator)? Is your storage cap damaged? How much capacitance do you use there? Roque said:
However this doesn't explain why I get transients that are +-8V on my DC. Are you sure, that you observe -8V?? Where exactly do you observe -8V? Turn-on the AC-motor by hand, means by bypassing your motor control. Are then also the dips present on your DC? If not, then the noise has nothing to do with the mains dips, but is an effect of your motor control. Kai |
