#136061 - the trick is Responding to: ???'s previous message |
that, if you do so, you need to have a sequence of "Key Codes".
"pay and we will give it to you" will not work. you will get "Oh, I'll pay, but I need the thingy today". What works is a sequence; the crook calls and ask you tell him to pay, he replies "I'll send the check today" then you give him a weeks worth of operation before the second key code is requested. The real problem is "a den of thieves" you need a different key code sequence for every customer. The most efficient scheme I have seen was a PC program that erased the harddrive if you did not have the key code (it DID ask 3 times and tell you the 2nd and 3rd time "do not enter the wrong code, you will regeret it") Erik |
