#133251 - COM9 Limitation
Responding to: ???'s previous message

One problem you may encounter is that the 'cheap method' of configuring an USB port to run as a serial does not work above COM9.

Hi Erik,

I discovered the COM9 limitation for the first time just a week or two ago with some USB-to-serial converters. Do you have any more insight into this "cheap method" you're talking about? Or perhaps a link to something that describes it in more detail?

Thanks,
