For everyone's information, the 8052.com server was completely down for about 8 hours earlier today. This was unrelated to the previous server problems but resulted in a complete lack of connectivity during the downtime due to something going on with the server farm where our server is located. It is currently resolved and I am asking them to investigate the problem because it does not appear to have been a problem with our server--some IP Addresses on our server were working while others weren't, so it seems more like it was a routing problem.
I will be spending some time this evening investigating the ongoing problems that occasionally lead to the server slowing down. Those problems have been reduced recently, but not completely eliminated. Regards, Craig Steiner |
