There are certainly subtle differences even in various speed implementation of the SiLabs core. It appears from a quick look to the datasheet, that this (relatively slow) version doesn't have the jump cache (probably as a consequence of a single-byte wide FLASH vs. 4-byte wide at the 100MHz ones).
The max. is actually 25MHz... :-) To keep up with a 100MHz processor using a 25MHz flash, you have to fetch 4 bytes at a time, at 25MHz, there is no need. Erik |
