is often a problem, if not well thought out.
whether C or assembler, count the cycles in the (compiled) assembly and see if the ISR is fast enough. DO remember, that you, in your test, have to count the time for both receive and transmit. Also, if you have other ISRs, try setting the UART ISR at high priority. One of those two is the likely culprit. Erik |
