#130352 - I have got a clean room vhdl model of the 4004 Responding to: ???'s previous message |
The legal situation with intel is a little uncertain as they tried to sue the last person who posted a model of the 4004 but if anyone wants a copy i am sure what they dont know about wont hurt anyone. You can get about 20 inside a single modern fpga. You will not find an official intel version because the design predates VHDL by about 15 years.Plus intel rather wishes everyone would forget about the 4004.It would prolly make a quite useful softcore for some project or other, just don't tell intel. |
