#130331 - 35th anniversary of 4004
In my "unofficial history of 8051" I accused Intel of lack of interest in history of one of its most famous products.
Indeed, it seems it is volunteers' work, the 4004's 35th anniversary celebration: http://www.4004.com/ , although this time Intel participated: http://www.intel.com/museum/archives/4004.htm .

The nicest thing are the downloadable datasheet, manual, schematics, mask images and simulator.

Jan Waclawek

PS. I went through the manual and, YES, in my very humble opinion, 8051 IS the grandson of 4004...!
