That's who decided there should be so many of 'em.
What will help you over time is to decide on a limited set of components to use in your efforts. One size of two-digit 7-seg LED, one size of character LCD, one size/type of on/off switch, one type of power-entry. (I use that same one for the coax power connector that you have on your box ... it's from Radio Shack, isn't it? I wish I knew where to get 'em now that RS doesn't have em any longer.) You get the picture. Then, eventually, you'll have a supply of "parts that fit" for use in your projects. Of course, if you acquire too many, you'll end up with parts, the mates to which are no longer available ... <sigh> ... just I have have. RE |
