-a You too ? They are thinking of having me write an article too. Cutting holes in panels: You donĀ“t need any machine tools. PUNCH the lines in several places when you mark out. File the panel until half of the punch mark disappears (this gets round the problem of the disappearing line, as you cut) To punch an accurate line, punch the line very lighly to begin with. Examine with a magnifier, and "draw" the punch marks to the line with the punch held at an angle as you tap the punch towards the line. With practice, you can get better than 1/64". Drill large holes with a step drill. Steve |
