An essential part of programming is to be able to describe your solution clearly and precisely in your chosen programming language. Therefore it seems to me to be a distinct disadvantage if you can't even express your idea accurately in your own language.

Of course, for many on this forum English is not their native language - so we must make allowances in those cases.
