I've had remarkably good luck with probes purchased on eBay. There's probably reason to suspect probes of the "latest, greatest" generation, unless they're new, in which case they won't be cheap, but I have routinely acquired good fully equipped 400-500 MHz probes on eBay for a couple of hundred bucks each. Email me at rs555timer@aol.com or answer in post. In two days it goes on ebay. This scope probe is brand new never used. Since I do not have a scope any more so it is useles to me.
