To me it sounds like you are spoiled by the expensive compiler tool suites and you expect SDCC to be of the same quality. As long as there are bugs in the compiler I focus on fixing them and not on writing special manuals for specific users. If you have specific issues with the manual point them out and we will try to help of course.
