The example was a hex keypad, four lines driven by a port and four lines input to a port. Four more port outputs represent the binary value on LEDs.
My algorithm simply makes use of the fact that the LS two bits of the answer is the bit position of activated port input and the next two bits are the bit postion of the driven line. Ian |
