The microprocessor was developed as a replacement for lots of SSI/MSI hardware.
If you understand how a process is implemented in SSI/MSI hardware, then getting from there to a solution implemented with an MCU is not hard. I'm inclined to believe that, once one starts thinking strictly in terms of instructions, rather than functions, there's come to be too much separation between implmentation and desired result. RE |
