Nice idea, but note that both output-power-vs.-switch_on-time and light-output-vs.-power are quite nonlinear, so it might need an experimentally determined lookup table to make it nice.
You might also think on the thermal inertia of the bulb's filament, so it is generally much easier (amd also safer) to deal with LEDs at low voltages... JW |
