The "title" command in recent versions of Windows changes the title bar text (and of course task bar text) for the command window it is invoked in...
I hunted, right clicked. left clicked and more but could not find the "title" command. I'm using XP pro about a year old with all MS requested updates. Erik I believe the title command is actually internal to cmd.exe. The only documentation for it supplied with Windows I know if is the help command: C:\TEMP>help title Sets the window title for the command prompt window. TITLE [string] string Specifies the title for the command prompt window.--Sasha Jevtic |
