#121882 - Possible answers ..
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Q:"what endianness they use for thier project?"
A:Far endian, down the hall to left, just past the net printers.

Q:"What word size?"
A:Hard one, both C and Assembler have such irregular word length.

Q:How do you align the code?
A:Set our TAB's to 4 spaces per from the left.

Q:"Do you try to optimise the code from the compiler,or even look at the compiler output?"
A:This has been troubling so far as the output from the compiler is fairly cryptic. ---> Complete 4 warnings no errors. Having a problem flashing this output as well.

Q:Do you use simulations of the resulting code?
A:Yes. Yesterday we simulated we were 90% complete at a project meeting.

Q:Do you carry out peer reviews of the source code?
A:Not allowed to take the source off premise, besides the pier is to far for most of us.

Q:"do the software people working for you know any details of the(rather complex) hardware?"
A: Yes, mostly. What we don't know we make up.

Don't go yet, i'd like you to meet the hardware staff ...
