another weird experince,
talking to the lead project engineer at an un-named company,they use a processor with selectable endianess and word size.

I asked him what endianness they use for thier project? answer I dunno.
What word size? dunno.
How do you align the code? Dunno.
Do you try to optimise the code from the compiler,or even look at the compiler output? No.
Do you use simulations of the resulting code? No.
Do you carry out peer reviews of the source code? No.
I see,do the software people working for you know any details of the(rather complex) hardware? Most dont think its important to know the details,they just write the code.
Who decides the interfaces for the software modules? I do.
I think I'll just get my coat then shall I ?
