so they know exactly what their failure rate is. It's very, very small, but not zero.
very small compared to intermittent errors "coded or designed in". overheating components "I did not expect that condition". broken cables. mechanical failure ... fixing the one joint in a million is dead simple compared to the effects of the above. Erik |
