#118438 - Caps, guitarplayers and DC/DC converters
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Kai, thanks for your great reply.

The guitarplayer, who is a well educated 'down to earth' technical guy, knows that caps don't degrade LF in a way it can be heard. He never claimed that in any way. In that case I would know what to do....

I know a few of those 'guitarplayers'. I don't go near them.
One once claimed that his Sennheiser wireless set was less noisy when using a certain brand of battery in his beltpack........

The application of the DC/DC converter is actually an excercise to see if it's possible to use the converter in this situation.
It also creates a little more headroom for future application (such as preamps) compared to +9V single supply.

I'm going to do some simualtions with your proposals. They sound promising.

Thanks again,

Peter
