What do you mean by "profile" in this context?
Are you thinking that the EPROM contains configuration values that can be "tweaked" to adjust the unit's performance, rather than the executable code itself? ie, rather like a car's performance can be "tweaked" by changing its data tables? (commonly known as "chipping") Note that this is quite different from changing the actual executable software! The supplier may well be able to provide details of how to adjust configuration settings. |
