I've never actually considered the concept of a hardware emulator =) As a programmer, to me, that's already the "real thing".

If that is what you "think" then why reinvent the wheel, just use the keil simulator.

An emulator allow you torun the thingy" a simulator simulates the run of the thingy.

How do you propose to "emulate" a deviuce with keypad, display UART which all require precise timing and signal levels within specs.
