I have stated 1000s of times "testing is worthless, design it to work". To a large degree that is the basis of Correct by construction.
I have seen ever so many "tested" things with problems (typically of the "it happens now and then" kind) Whereas a properly designed (constructed) product either works or do not. If you design and verify before you code, the errors you will find will be of the type my mentor Howard Taylor called "clerical errors". Erik |
