I have been using this method for 10 years and done thousand of boards with 100% results. I even do double sided boards with great results.
Double sided ?! I wonder how you keep up with alignment of top and bottom layers! Any secrets?! Well, Ashwin, I am also from India(very nearer to you) and I do have the same problem of procuring components. I am using a paper called 'art paper' locally, which is essentially a glossy paper(just as papers used in magazines). It costs just Rs.2 ($1 ~ Rs.48). Toner transfer is working very fine. You may look here(scroll to the bottom) for some cool pictures done by the same method. Regards, Vignesh. |
