As USB becomes almost 'for free', it is a matter of time before someone releases a USB Download and Debug.
The Megawin MG84FG516 8051 part I mentioned has inbuilt USB Download, so gets close, but done in a Flash block. The NXP LPC11U2X move a step closer - there, they have the USB loader in ROM, so it is guaranteed to always be there. That also makes it a more solid platform, for the next step of more complete debug. |
