#187691 - yes, it is an "unencapsulated dongle" Responding to: ???'s previous message |
The toolstick I have in my hand, has a Silabs F328 on the USB to Edge connector PCB labeled TOOLSTICK, and that connects to the second chip, the DUT, which is on a second PCB with the edge connector
the 'second chip' is an "unencapsulated dongle" I know of NO "live debug" that works without a dongle. ARM needs one, SILabs need one, ICEs are one ..... so, you need ONE 'scond chip' however many instances you have. Thus the 'second chip' is a TOOL. I would agree with you had it been that each and every board you wanted to debug required a 'second chip' Erik |
