#187578 - That is exactly what I intended Responding to: ???'s previous message |
No mincing here. I tried to create a stalemate, but even with a move like that I still lost. I admitted that I lost the argument and I do not see that as a cop out. In fact, the stalemate move may not have even been logically sound, but that's besides the point.
What you said is mostly true and I only say that because there is one statement that bares merit for an example and that involves the switch. 1.) The title of this thread involves Intermediate C techniques. The beginner who may be reading these posts may not have a clue where a break is used, but an Intermediate C language user will know. 2.) You were the second in line to post that a switch can also be used. 3.) Only examples of loops have been given and I do like those examples - do not get me wrong. Why was the switch introduced if no example can be provided to be used within this context, other than to have completeness? Just another form of short-circuit evaluation, right? Either way, I have the deepest respect for all the users of 8052 and please accept my humblest apologies if I have offended you in some way. |
