Learn about the wonders of the fabulous SiLabs C8051F series parts. Broad family, all with on board flash, all with on-board debugging with real breakpoints and watch points accessed via a J-TAG port, almost all parts having a portion of XRAM on board, and every part in the family supported through a group of various development kits that would cost you some where in the range if 79USD to 129USD depending upon which kit you select.
SiLabs MCU Web Page is here.... http://www.silabs.com/products/...fault.aspx Read one data sheet and be impressed!! Michael Karas I concur with Michaels comment, took his and others advice (thanks for the advice chaps) on the silabs C8051F120 DK, its a fantastic piece of kit, I am well on the way with a project. Incidently, i have some of the AH basic chips from the eighties and some of the Xicor SLIC devices. Is this the start of a museum tom varley |
