Learn about the wonders of the fabulous SiLabs C8051F series parts. Broad family, all with on board flash, all with on-board debugging with real breakpoints and watch points accessed via a J-TAG port, almost all parts having a portion of XRAM on board, and every part in the family supported through a group of various development kits that would cost you some where in the range if 79USD to 129USD depending upon which kit you select.
