Thanks for the thoughts on this;
I managed to solve it on my own; as no one else seemed to have any issues running it on WIN7 and I had done the installation on a virgin machine, It had to be some of the HP "Utilities" that they had installed as part of the installation. Through the control panel in Windows, I uninstalled everything that had HP stamped on the installation, at the risk of breaking the machine, and eventually I uninstalled the driver that was not playing nicely. Now the debugger works....Yay. I can't use some of the HP utils but who cares. Regards Marshall Brown |
