#180216 - Win 7 - Silabs
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Jecksons,

Yes, Win7 is more 'complicated' than XP. It feels like Vista with tweaks to appear more responsive and attempts to produce a more entertaining desktop experience. The cost for this being a bloated, bumbling system requiring even more navigational and confirmational 'clicks' to achieve the simplest operation.

Regarding the Silabs issue. As i reported i am succesfully running the latest IDE on:

USB Adapter

Platform
--------
-HP model HPE-400y
-Win7 'Home Premium' version 6.1.76 64 bit
-AMD 945 4 core
-8G mem
