#180684 - Critisism
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Michael Karas said:
Do I write good code? You bet!!
Do I write better code now than I did 30 years ago? Absolutely!!
Am I still learning how to write better code? Yes for sure!!

Not many of us transcend basic human nature, and I recognise myself in these comments. It's taken me years to understand that software quality is 100% about eliminating human error. I now accept that bugs in my code are my failings, and that their discovery is a good thing. Being positive about criticism seems particularly difficult in an industry where scrutiny is rare.
