As already noted earlier, many of us write code that can't be freely shared because of contractual obligations etc.

For some reason, I hardly do any embedded programming for hobby uses - the time I have is most spent on PC support applications or web applications. And when I do embedded projects on my own, I normally base them on a commercial project since I already have hardware, driver layer etc available.
